In accordance with the Central Epidemic Command Center and the Ministry of Education Guidance for Epidemic Prevention Management, the course format will be adjusted as follows starting from October 12:
- Class size, including the instructor and students, below 80 people: Classes resume to on-site format, not restricted to safe social distance nor to plum-blossom or spaced seating arrangement. Please be seated where there is an open seat.
- Class size exceeds 80 people: Class adopts dispersion format, wherein students are dispersed by odd and even weeks according to the second to the last digit of their student ID, even or odd; or the teacher can disperse students in groups on their own. Teachers, please fill out the form to Inform the University of Teacher Revising Class Format Dispersion Arrangements online in the e-form system.
- Class size exceeds 80 people: Instructors need to fill out and submit e-form NO. 2345 "Form to Inform University of Teacher Revising Class Format Dispersion Arrangements for Class Size Exceeding 80 People."
- For on-site classes, students must sit in the assigned seat, but seating is not restricted to plum-blossom or spaced seating arrangements. The instructor must take roll accurately for each class period so as to keep track of students’ attendance. If for some reason, students are unable to be seated in the assigned seat, the instructor must take a photo/picture of the revised arrangement as proof for any epidemic-related follow-up.
- Instructors and students need to wear face masks at all times during the class session, no eating and drinking, and maintain airflow.
- When faculty members and students enter the campus, please cooperate with body temperature checks, disinfection of hands, and real-name registration.
Other matters will be handled in accordance with the Central Epidemic Command Center and the Ministry of Education Guidance for Epidemic Prevention Management and will be revised by a rolling planning method.
Regarding students' dispersion, it is suggested that students be on campus when they are scheduled for a class, and if a course is implementing remote teaching when they are on campus, students can use an empty classroom, the library, self-learning computer lab, or department's professional classroom to participate in class.
