Fundamental Professional Competence Standards for Undergraduate Students
University Requirements
In accordance with the General Provisions for Study, undergraduate students need to satisfactorily complete Service Learning, reach the basic competencies of English, Information Technology, Chinese, and Sports set by the university, and pass the test that measures students’ core competencies set by their department in order to graduate.

Department Requirements
Students who meet the following requirements are qualified for graduation.
a. take the preliminary GEPT at the high intermediate level or other equivalent tests and pass the test.
b. Finish the senior thesis and pass the oral defense.
c. Meet the requirements of basic professional skills in order to graduate.
Fundamental Professional Competence Standards for Graduate Students
Graduate students who meet the following requirements are qualified for graduation.
- a.Have completed all required and elective courses and have fulfilled the credit requirements.
- b.Have passed all required examinations conducted by their respective departments (graduate degree programs) in accordance with the Master’s Degree Conferral Regulations.
- c.Pass the requirements of Basic Professional Skills in order to graduate.
