有人說，2020年是個黑暗的一年，COVID-19疫情籠罩全球，許多名人意外辭世。但，黑夜中依舊會有微光，生命總能找到出口！於是，文藝獎以「光」為題，邀請喜歡創作的你，找到黑暗中的那道光！
本屆徵文項目包括文學類（中文小說、中文散文、現代詩、英文創作）、影像類（微電影、校園攝影、歌曲創作、四格漫畫），共二大類八小組。

Arts Awards are hosted by the Journalism Section of the General Secretary's Division to encourage students to participate in literary creation and enhance humanities on campus. It is hoped that students can cultivate their temperaments via reading and nourish their minds via writing.
MCU Literary and Arts Awards is held once per academic year, and the submissions include unpublished Literary Division (Chinese Novel, Chinese Prose, Modern Chinese Poetry, English Creative Writing), Image Division (Short Film, Campus Photography, Song Creation, Four-frame Cartoon).
